TITLE OF OPEN POSITION: Summer Learning Academy Grades 1-5
DATE POSITION WILL BE VACANT: July 8, 2024
APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL: April 15, 2024
SALARY: As per the PEA contract and the Phillipsburg Board of Education
JOB DESCRIPTION: Certified regular education, special education, and specials teachers to teach in the summer program. Hours will be 8:00-12:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
July 8th – July 25th, 2024.
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:
1. New Jersey Teacher Certification
2. Competence in knowledge / skills
3. Student centered focus
4. Criminal Background Check required
5. Employee of Phillipsburg School District
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED:
Experience working with Phillipsburg School District students.
Knowledge of current curriculum programs used in the district.
Understanding of NJSLS Standards.
Competent implementing current district intervention programs.
