JOB DESCRIPTION: Math/ELA Interventionist
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:
1. New Jersey Elementary Certification
2. Reading Specialist Certification preferred
3. Strong Understanding of Data Analysis
4. Knowledge and understanding of the English Language Arts and Mathematics New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS)
5. Best practices in Math Instruction, Reading Instruction and Assessment
6. Competence in knowledge/skills
7. Student-Centered Focus
8. Classroom management skills
9. Required criminal history background check
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED: The applicant should be knowledgeable of the following:
1. Research-based Literacy Strategies
2. Developmentally Appropriate Practices
3. Collaborative Teaching
4. Cross-curricular Activities
