The Phillipsburg School District is pleased to provide the following information for anyone interested in our Inter-District  Public School Choice Program.  The information that follows is designed to assist interested families in the navigation of the application process for the 2020-2021 school year. 
 
Please carefully review the "Student Application Guidelines" provided and note that:
 
STEP ONE:  Parent/Guardian must submit a notice of intent to participate in the school choice program to the Superintendent of the District in which the student resides.  THE DEADLINE FOR THIS IS DECEMBER 3, 2019.
 
STEP TWO:  Once having received approval from your district of residence, SUBMIT THE COMPLETED APPLICATION TO THE PHILLIPSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT.
 
The Deadline for Applications for the 2019-2020 school year will be  DECEMBER 3, 2019.
 
Personal tours of the High School may be arranged by calling 908-454-3400 Ext. 1014. 
   
NOTE:  When making your decision, please be aware that transportation may not be provided for your student.  Depending on the circumstances, the resident district may provide aid in lieu of transportation.  (Visit the NJ Department of Education's transportation procedures for more information.)

      

If your student is currently registered with his/her resident district, complete the Notice of Intent to Participate Form, submit it to your resident district by December 3, 2019, and obtain a signed receipt acknowledging that you submitted the form. Keep the receipt for your records. By law, a resident district must be informed if a student intends to participate in the choice program.
